#1 - Send Thank you Cards

Those law firms, colleges, corporations, community organizations, and politicians that are fighting back against government overreach and corruption need to know they are seen and are making a difference. Mail them a thank you card today. What to make a bigger statement? Consider sending flowers, cookies, or snacks.

#2 - Write Letters to your Representatives

Your representatives can turn off their phones and delete their emails, but the mail always gets delivered. Good ol’ USPS. Send them a letter today 9and every day until they start acting).

#3 - Post on Social Media

I know you’ve seen all the hate, lies, and misinformation being posted on social media. It is taking its toll on our political system. The best way to beat them is to out post them. Posting about your experiences in the face of government overreach and corruption is extremely important, but also flood the space with love, joy, compassion, and friendship. Keep people abreast of government fraud, and illegal activities, even if it’s just your friends and family.

#4 - Know your rights

Knowing your rights is a very effective way of keeping the government overreach out of your home and away from your friends and family. Don’t open your door to government agents unless they have a warrant signed by a judge or magistrate. Do not answer questions without a lawyer present. The ACLU has an excellent outline of rights for you to know.
